Grinding and re-profiling of rails
Grinding and re-profiling of rails and switches and points eliminate surface defects such as rail corrugation and brings the rail back to its original profile. This results in an increased life span of the complete track infrastructure. On top of that, there exist positive effects towards the environment (reduction of noise and vibrations) and an increased passenger ride comfort.
We work with several grinding trains using 12 to 96 grinding stones, providing the most adapted and efficient train for each network, from high speed to tram and metro.


Inspection of track infrastructure
We offer ultrasonic and eddy current inspection of rails using integrated inspection and measurement vehicles or manual devices. Inspections are performed according to UIC code 712 and UCI code 725. Rail flaws such as head checks, squats, corrugation and many more are detected.


Besides standard inspection techniques, we also offer inspection by means of cameras using automated vision software to detect missing fasteners, missing bolts, cracks in sleepers etc.
For each defect or flaw, we can offer an adequate inspection technique.
Measurements
We have a full range of measurement equipment for vehicle geometry (wheel profile, wheel diameter, wheel gauge,…) and track geometry/wear (rail wear, track gauge, cant, twist, radius, inclination, roughness, … ).
For most parameters, we have both manual (portable) and automated measurement equipment which is to be mounted in the track or vehicle.

Tamping
We work with tamping machines that lift, line and tamp the track and switches.
